There are a number of land borders through which it is possible to drive. These include: From Greece at Kakavia. (South) From Greece at Kapshtica. (Southeast) From Macedonia at Qafe Thane. (East) From Kosovo at Morine and Kukes. (Northeast) From Montenegro at Hani I Hotit. (North) From Montenegro at Ulqini. (North)
There are regular bus services connecting Tirana with towns in Macedonia and Kosovo, as well as to Athens (Greece), Sofia (Bulgaria) and Istanbul (Turkey). There is also a regular service from Korca in the southeast to Thessaloniki, Greece.
